Our teams

Our goal at Regional CAC is to be a voice for the children and to provide a place where they can begin healing. When child abuse victims arrive at Regional CAC, they will find caring professionals who are dedicated to reducing the trauma of the criminal justice system.

Since the children have already experienced trauma from the abuse, special care must be taken during the interview process. Children and teenagers are interviewed in a home-like environment so they will feel more secure and relaxed when telling their story.

Regional CAC uses a multidisciplinary approach to child abuse investigation. A team of various types of professionals are brought together for the investigation including: child protective service investigators, law enforcement, prosecutors, medical, and mental health professionals.

Regional CAC has multidisciplinary teams in the following communities: Washington, Clarke, and Choctaw Counties.
